Slaman's Quality Flowers
Slaman’s Quality Flowers was looking for a way to improve their inventory visibility to improve customer service, reduce product loss, and improve decision making. Slaman’s services the premium flower market which demands only quality flowers be brought to market. By partnering with the Centre for Supply Chain Innovation and the SMART Centre, the research team developed a roadmap for Slaman’s which outlines the steps to align the processes, data, technology, and people to transition to digitized data. In addition to the roadmap, the team also piloted integrated analytics where the team was able to demonstrate the use of Tableau connected to QuickBooks to produce new information and visualizations.
