SolidState AI specializes in developing artificial intelligence and machine learning software for advanced manufacturing industries. One of their most valuable offerings is AI for Manufacturing Systems (AIMS), a software solution that helps manufacturers increase yields and throughput by reducing ramp-up time and creating predictive maintenance and equipment failure models. SolidState AI partnered with Conestoga's SMART Centre to enhance the functionality of AIMS.
The primary goals of the collaboration were to improve the software's architecture, enhance stability, and prepare it for expandability. Additionally, development of a data extraction tool capable of converting unstructured data into structured formats, such as PDF, Excel, and HTML files.
The collaboration between SolidState AI and Conestoga's SMART Centre resulted in significant improvements to AIMS. The enhanced software architecture provides greater stability and prepares the system for future expansion. The data extraction tool allows AIMS to extract and process data from unstructured sources, providing manufacturers with greater clarity on their production costs and pricing for manufactured parts.
By partnering with Conestoga's SMART Centre, SolidState AI has made great strides in improving AIMS. The software solution is now better equipped to support advanced manufacturing operations, helping manufacturers improve their production yields and throughput while providing more transparency into their production costs.
