Parker Christie
Software researcher
Parker is a software researcher at Conestoga’s SMART Centre. He holds an honours bachelor of physical science from the University of Guelph and a systems analyst advanced diploma from Sheridan College.
Parker’s expertise is working with real-time digital technologies, focused on game engines such as Unity & Unreal Engine. He has developed numerous VR, AR, and prototype game applications for both creative endeavours and solving unique business challenges. He also works frequently with machine learning and AI tools through the development of novel software integrations, such as generative character animation for creative media.
Before Conestoga, Parker worked more than five years as a software researcher, providing key software development knowledge, planning numerous projects with industry partners, and leading the implementation of many software solutions.
