Sean Duffy
Chef technologist
Sean Duffy is a chef technologist with the School of Hospitality & Culinary Arts at Conestoga College.
He has worked for over 18 years in the food industry in a wide variety of settings, from an apprenticeship with Ritz Carlton in the United States, fine dining at Langdon Hall, to helping open and run a restaurant in Waterloo.
He has a diploma in culinary management from George Brown College, as well as having completed his Red Seal.
He enjoys sharing knowledge about food and techniques with people who have a desire to learn and develop their skills in the culinary world.
Research Interests: use of technology to help ensure consistency with products from creation to presentation, sustainable proteins, food safety, regional techniques (classic/modern)
