Vlad Thoma, PhD
Professor
Vlad Toma is currently a professor of management, marketing and sustainability at the Conestoga College School of Hospitality & Culinary Arts.
Aside from teaching, Vlad has been involved with and has led research and consulting projects in management and social innovation in the hospitality and tourism sector and beyond for over a decade.
Vlad has had a global educational experience, completing his honours bachelor of business administration at the University of Toronto alongside the University of Gothenburg and the University of Savoie, his master's in political and social science at the University of Innsbruck and his PhD coursework in economics at the University of Granada.
He is a member of the Flourishing Enterprise Institute - a research network of organizational and new economics innovators and systems-thinkers. V
lad's work experience comprises project management, event management, catering and marketing for a number of different organizations.
Research interests: worldviews, systems-thinking, innovation in management and hospitality and tourism, ecological economics;
